As an employee, you are entitled to 100% of your sick pay basis up to 6G (six times the National Insurance basic amount). The employer covers the first 16 days.

Q: What is the maximum limit for sick pay?

NAV only covers sick pay for income up to 6G (the basic amount). For 2024, 6G is NOK 744,168. If you earn more than this, NAV will not cover the excess, unless your employer pays the difference.
